Italian character tenor Paolo Antognetti has been an audience favorite across the globe. His masterful portrayals, musicality and simpatico driven by his sweet-timbered voice also allow him to sing some lyric tenor roles such as Nemorino and Don Ottavio.
In 2017/18, Mr. Antognetti performs as Le Remendado in Carmen at Opera di Firenze, Borsa in Rigoletto at Teatro Massimo di Palermo, and Raymond in Jérusalem at Festival Verdi in Parma. Last season he returned to the Arena di Verona Opera Festival as Abdallo in Nabucco and Il Messaggero in Aida.
