Character tenor Jean-Pascal Heynemand impresses with his vocal ease and clean, articulate musicality. He is an immediate audience favorite with his natural simpatico and nimble physicality.
Upcoming engagements for Mr. Heynemand include creating the role of Sigismund in Barry Webb’s new opera Nepomuk at the Bohemian Summer Festival in Liverpool, a performance of Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro with Cork Opera House, and a return to Opéra de Baugé Festival to play Pluton in their production of Orphée aux Enfers. He will also create the role of Rose-tree in the World Premiere of John O’Brien’s The Nightingale and the Rose with Everyman Theatre in Cork and Dublin, Ireland. On the concert stage in 2017/18, he sings the tenor solos in Händel’s Messiah and Uriel in Haydn’s Creation with Todmorden Choral Society, and as a soloist with Warrington Choral Society he sings Mozart’s Requiem and Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass. Last season, audiences and critics were delighted with his portrayal of Normanno in Lucia di Lammermoor at Opéra de Baugé. Read More

“Some of the best vocal thrills come from the male quintet who depict the rose trees. They had some of the best comedy too.”
Cathy Desmond, THE IRISH EXAMINER, 2018
“All for soloists had beautiful, expressive voices. The first part was mainly joyful, including tenor Jean-Pascal Heynemand’s powerful solo “Ev’ry valley shall be exalted.”
Dianna Forrest, LOCALSOUNDFOCUS.COM, 2017
“Jean-Pascal Heynemand convincingly portrayed a smooth Normanno. His voice is sure, well placed and his timbre clear. His ‘Percorrete le spiagge vicine’ brilliantly opens the opera.”
Suzanne Lay, BACHTRACK>COM, 2017
“Hermes was powerfully voiced by Jean-Pascal Heynemand.”
